- This is a kit of the most powerful Zero Fighter 52 Type Hei, the final model of the Zero Fighter Type 52 series that has a 13 mm machine gun added to the outside of the 20 mm machine gun on the main wing of the Zero Fighter.
- The 4-point suspended wooden 300 liter drop tank, the intricate carving of the main wing panels, and the added cooling holes for the 13mm machine gun have all been realistically reproduced in 1/144 scale.
- Contains decals of 7 types of Nakajima aircraft painting examples, such as 203 Sky and Shinrai Unit (721 Sky).
- The box art depicts Takeo Tanimizu of the 203rd Fighter Squadron, 303rd Fighter Squadron, which was active in the Kyushu region air defense battle, a famous aircraft with a B-29 bomber and a US military star shot down mark on the rear of the fuselage. The Zero Fighter crew has been reproduced with illustrations by Masami Onishi.
- The back of the box is a comic illustration by manga artist Yukihisa Fujita commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Zero Fighter.
