-In 1988, the sleeper limited express [Hokutosei] service started between Ueno and Sapporo in line with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel connecting Honshu and Hokkaido.

[Product Features]
-Modeled on a prototype of a formation (around 2010) that is a mixture of JR Hokkaido belonging vehicles and JR East belonging vehicles.
-Realistically reproduce the window layout peculiar to a private room sleeper, the handrail position difference due to the difference in the car, the emblem on the side of the car body, and various gold band patterns.
-The lamp shade of the dining car Sushi 24 lights up beautifully. You can enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional line dining car.
-Arnold coupler is standard equipment on the locomotive connection side. Knuckle coupler included for replacement. Body mount coupler is standard equipment at the intermediate connection.
-Storage is a 7-car book case for both basic and extension set. There is space to store one locomotive in each.
