── EH 200 new type that is familiar with Blue Thunder's nickname

- Model EH 200, a prototype car in 2001 appeared, mass-produced locomotive began in 2003, currently has appeared in number 24.
- Adopting the same 2-car body 8-axis drive style as the EH 500 type, the body based on shades of blue has a nickname [ECO-POWER Blue Thunder] logo adopted by public offering.

- EH 200 is a locomotive whose mass production started in 2003.
- Like the EH 500 type, it adopts the 2 car body 8 axis drive style.
- The logo mark nicknamed [ECO - POWER Blue Thunder] is placed on the body based on the shade of blue.

[Actual vehicle guide]
- Model EH 200 is a DC electric locomotive developed to replace the EF 64 shape manufactured for the gradient line section during the JNR. The same shape adopts the two-body coupling system with the axis arrangement B - B + BB, and the control system is the VVVF inverter control using the IGBT element, which has the same output as the EF 64 type duplex. This makes it possible to withdraw 1100 t cargo trains with a gradient of 25 ‰. Mass production cars appeared in March 2003, [ECO-POWER Blue Thunder] was nicknamed, was placed in the Takasaki agency district and is active.
