--The Pershing II is a two-stage solid fuel quasi-intermediate-range ballistic missile designed and manufactured in place of the Pershing 1a missile as a weapon capable of carrying a nuclear warhead for the main battlefields of the US Army.
--The semi-trailer with the missile's upright launcher was towed by the M1001 tractor in the NATO area.
--The tractor was equipped with a generator for the crane and missile launch power source, and the new guidance system was equipped with a self-direction adjustment function, which could be launched within minutes of installation.
