Hi! Today, let's stay away from the Shizuoka Hobby Show and talk a little about the Super Dimension Fortress Macross. The latest completed model that is going to be released of the GN-U Dou series from Yamato is VF-1J, the type manned by none other than Ichijo Hikaru.  It's been a long wait since the release of YF-19, but finally Yamato decides to produce VF-1J and VF-1A in June! I've heard that the maker has gone great length to ensure a high degree of movement range for this model, resulting in this sophisticated look that's brimming with elegance and power. Thanks to the display base that comes with the item, Hikaru's machine can be set in a great variety of poses, including a mid-air position. See here!  I can hear you shouting, "Yes, yes, this kind of display stand, that's exactly what we have been waiting for all along!" And here it is, preparing for action!  Looks super cool, I know! I don't know if I can check my urge to buy this model together with VF-1A Max Type on my next payday. And, a couple of months after that, VF-1A Mass Production Type! Fun never stops for Macross fans, and Yamato certainly knows how to keep its customers in suspense. |
