Hello, Hyakugabasu here. Some of you who are more environmentally conscious than I am may disagree, but when it comes to motorcycles, I love two-stroke engines rather than four-stroke ones. And, speaking of two-stroke engines, the NSR250 of HONDA is a "must-mention." To the dismay of motorcyclists, it is a model that has long gone out of production, but to the joy of hobby fans, it is still alive in the form of a plastic model. The tricolor scheme of the final NSR250 is great, but this one here with green, blue and white is just as wonderful, n'est ce pas? Incidentally, Ajinomoto Honda Racing NSR250-`90 of Tamiya is a production type out of the 90s, and is charactered by its swingarm, the so-called gull arm which not quite straight as ordinary ones but curved a bit. See the red square in the image below. It's bent the way it is, not because it is broken or anything, but for functional reasons. And it looks sooooo cool! This model should be built as it is supposed to be, and NOT, I repeat, NOT to be turned into one of those "Itasha" with Itasha Decals attached on its body. ......... How can anyone build and paint this item so good? I know I can't. But whether you are just a beginner or an old hand at plastic modeling, AJINOMOTO Honda RACING NSR250 will certainly give you a quality time to tackle something hard and make it into something pleasant to the eye. See you again next week. Hyakugabasu |
