Konnichiwa, Kapinotsuka desu! I have always been a big fan of big cars. By "big cars" I mean trucks and buses, whether by Hino Motors, Mitsubishi or Nissan. Today I'd like to rattle on about rumbling trucks. Isuzu Elf  Elf is undoubtedly the most well-known light-duty truck of Isuzu. It comes in many different colors and with many different forms of truck beds. The image shown above is presumably of the 5th-generation model from the 1990s. I like this one, and I am sorry I don't see this one as often as I used to when I was knee high to a grasshopper. It appears the latest model, i.e. the 6th-generation Elf, is yet to be released as a plastic model. Isuzu Forward Flat Body (320 Early Type)  "Forward" refers to series of medium trucks from Isuzu. Looks kind of like Elf made even more powerful. It has a great diversity of derivative types, ranging from ordinary sorts of trucks to instruction cars at driving schools to fire engines. Some are sold in North and South America also, but under different brands. Isuzu Giga High Roof Tractor  Third on the list is Giga, a series of heavy-duty trucks. This looks strong, sounds strong and is indeed strong! This one is working everyday everywhere in Japan, either as a regular dump truck, a trailor or as a freezer car. A tough work, but somebody has to do it, right? Isuzu 810 Super Insulated Truck  Here comes today's main item, 810 and 810 Super, a predecessor of Giga. Its production was ended in the mid 90s, giving its seat to Giga. This brings me to the end of today's blog, giving my seat to Tomeko-san, my love. See you! |
