Good evening. Kapinozuka here. The new products exhibition report will continue for another while! [BANDAI] ★ B Train Shorty Yamanote Line type E231 100th year anniversary wrapping car ![]() Here is the item which was hastily announced at the Tokyo Hobby Show (in Makuhari), the Yamanote line type E231 naming 100th year anniversary wrapping train. In the year 1909, the title [Yamanote Line] was given, and this year is the 100th year. So they are currently running a single unit of brown wrapping train to match the image of Yamanote line 100 years ago, and it has already been turned into a BTrain! ![]() Here is the side view of the BTrain. The entire train is colored brown, so one may be a little surprised if they tried to ride on the Yamanote line and see this. ![]() We asked the BANDAI staff if we could take images of the bottom, they kindly gave us their permission. If you take a look at the frontal skirt, the [re-enforced skirt] used currently has been reproduced with a new metal part and included in this product for the first time. Yes, that pointy strong looking thing at the center. ![]() Apparently they have prepared 10 different designs for the back of the packaging. This is a collaboration project with the [Railway Fan] Magazine, and you can look back on the scenery of Yamanote line from the old days. We are currently taking pre-orders of it too. The staff from the manufacturer mentioned that it wouldn't be produced again after the first batch. For those who play while waiting to find out which package design for the back of packaging will arrive... - [Single Item] B Train Shorty Series E231 Yamanote Line Named 100th Anniversary Wrapping Train (2-Car Set) Single Piece And for those who wants to collect all 10 types and be excited with the photo book... - [Set of 10] B Train Shorty Series E231 Yamanote Line Named 100th Anniversary Wrapping Train (2-Car Set) *10 Pieces Set Unfortunately, I, Kapinozuka haven't seen the real version of these wrapping trains. There are 52 units of type E231running on the Yamanote line in total every day, but only one of these are chocolate colored. If you can get on it, you must be very lucky! ★ B Train Shorty Joban Line type E231 ![]() The E231 series has replaced the 103 series, and is active on the Joban line. The strip of emerald green and yellowish green lines on the train gives you a relaxing impression. The product in the photo is a prototype has the head sign which was used at its debute! You can make the one lead car and center car each with one set. By collecting a lot, you could make the basic 10-car unit, and simply adding another 5-car unit... and you might as well have the maximum of 15-car unit... so there are a number of ways to enjoy it. - B Train Shorty Joban line type E231 ★ B Train Shorty Passenger car type 12 ![]() Generally, a type 12 passenger train is seen as a stand-in train for rapid trains and reservation group trains etc. during busy seasons and such. It has worked hard in the place of the older models of passenger trains, but they are decreasing in number these days. By equipping a suhafu with a generator, the train is useful as it can create its own energy for the lighting and heaters etc. So it can be joined onto any other locomotives! So in the world of B Trains, you can also join it to steam locomotive, electric locomotive, diesel locomotive etc etc, you can enjoy the freedom of joining it to whichever locomotive you like! - B Train Shorty Passenger Car Series 12 ...And here are some others. ★ B Train Shorty Series 113 Latter Shonan Color ![]() This two tone of orange and green is known as the [Shonan Color]. ![]() And this two tone of cream and blue is known as the [Suka Color]. ★ Type 103 Improved cars ![]() This orange one is the Osaka Loop Line. ![]() This sky blue ones are the Hanwa Line and Tokaido Main Line. You can change the front parts to change the looks. ![]() Here is the light green car with white strip, the Yamatoji Line... wait, huh!? Princess Tomeko, theres no photo! ...sorry about this, looks like we forgot to take a photo of this one... we hope for your forgiveness, please be content with the packaging image >.< This is the end of the BANDAI report. See you soon I hope! Support: Tomeko Author: Kapinozuka |
