There has been long discussion regarding the next main fighter jet project (F-X), but apparently they are gonna buy about 40 F-35 which is currently under production,
may be. F-35, it seems interesting as a multi-roll jet, but the official spec of the actual machine is yet unknown... and its data has been kept from us as machine secret, as well as license for its reproduction will be hard to obtain, there are many points to be thought. But this could start a trend between the manufacturers to make more F-35 products...may be. Its not a jets with orthodox silhouettes like the F-15, nor like an alien ship like F-117, one would have to say its got a very distinctive style. I personally think it gives an impression of a penguin sliding on ice with its belly... don't you think? No? Really? May be its just me... ah well. I might write about it in detail another time I guess, if I get a chance later, so be sure to read it if I write it! So anyway... It's been a while, but hi people, its Tomeko here. Regardless of the preliminary remarks, once again, lets continue with the helm making. Yup, lets! Helm of Date Masamuke   So this is as far as we got last time... and this is were we are at on the instruction manual.  ...I feel like crying at the our progress, knowing that we are only on the first step T.T  We will now sticking these tiny parts to the neck area of the face armor... And gosh these parts are sooooo tiny! Feels like writing on a grain of rice! With me being a little clumsy, I really envy those that are good with these kinda work!! Snipping the little parts with the Side Cutter, leaving a bit of the edge.  and continue by cutting the edge off with a craft scalpel. Gold parts should be colored gold on the frame, then cut off...... SNAP! (O o O) !! P A R T S F L I E S O F F Went crawling on the ground looking for the piece, but with no luck. ... ...... damn such disgrace, managed to lose two of these damned things. I feel like dying by 2mm ish. Luckily there were a few spares on the frame, so its all good. And then I realized afterwards that I could've taped these small pieces together or something so they wont get lost. Regret is so useless... Btw, these blue parts, not sure if its just my cutting skills (or the lack of it) or the material its made of, but I think they whiten easily, so it might be good to coat it with color as well. So here is the current situation.  Yup, I think its kinda starting to look how it should...ish. It might just be my workmanship that its alittle disappointing atm, looking at it close up.
