Good evening, Kapinozuka here.
Continuing with the report on the 32nd Railway Model Show 2010, this time its
Modemo special!
♦ Demonstrating its run on the
Unitram
Modemo had been passionately releasing trams, and this time it demonstrating
its performance on the display of Kato's Unitram.
The car used for the demonstration was able to run on the Unitram's curve rail
used for the display successfully too.

Tosa Dentetsu Type 600 `Late Type Cooler Edition` (M Car)
Out of the Tosa Electric Railways Type 600, these are the car number 601 and
602 equipped with the Mitsubishi air conditioner, reproduced in N-scale.
This time it's the two air conditioner on the roof made as new parts.

♦
Meitetsu
Type Mo 780 (Add-on T Car)
Running on the tramway of the Meitetsu 'til just a few years ago, and there
were a variety, old and new being actively used.
The Series Mo780 made its debut in the late 1990s, being a relatively new
train, having a large front windscreen, and the black bumper below the
headlights that also stands out.
It has been designed with a trend of the 1990s over all.
After the Meitetsu's trams being stopped in 1997, it has been repositioned to
Toyohashi Railroad and is currently active there.
The trial product displayed had grasped the distinctive features of Series Mo
780 well, and had them reflected on the model. However, it seems that there is
a height difference between the motored car and the non-motored car, so let's
see how things will turn out.

Meitetsu
Mo 510/520 Scarlet Color (2-Car Set)
Here is also another tram from Meitetsu, the Type Mo 510 + Type Mo 520 two car
set.
Apologies for the odd focus of the photo, but this is the model of its
appearance with scarlet painting from mid 1970s, reproduced as a model.

Keifuku
Electric Railway Type Mobo631 `Enoden Go` (w/Moter) *Memorial Partners
Edition
Currently the Type Mobo 631 of the Keifuku Electric Railways has been painted
with the Enoden color paint.
This was to commemorate the twinning of Keifuku and Enoden, and is running
with the limited period special coloring.
And this has already been turned into N-Scale.

Enoshima
Electric Railway Type 1500 `Randen Go` (w/Moter) *Memorial Partners Edition
Currently, out of the Type 1500 of Enoden, the formation of cars no.1502 +
no.1552 has been painted with the Keifuku Electric Railways colors.
This is just like the previous Keifuku Type Mobo 631, and is a limited time
special coloring to celebrate the twining.
Whither it be the model or the actual train, there really isn't much sense of
incongruity with the color swap of the two companies, is there?
♦
Enosjima
Dentetsu 2000 `Choco Den 2009` (M Car)
The model change car of type 1000, the type 2000 is popular for its excellent
design.
And within that type 2000, the formation of cars no.2001 and no.2051 has the
Meiji Seika's wrapping advert has been placed, wearing an image of Meiji
Seika's chocolates.
There was a fuss over the chocolate train on the Yamanote Line in 2009, but
please don't forget the chocolate train of the Enoden too.
The Enoden Type 2000 has been released from Modemo several times in the past,
so I would think the model itself is similar to the models of the past.
Just like the real train, the Wrapping that reminds you of chocolate has been
beautifully reproduced with printing, and that really is the main attraction
of this model.
♦
Enoshima
Electric Railway (Enoden) Type10 (w/Motor)
Now, the model with the greatest popularity from the new products of Modemo
this time by far, is the Enoden Type 10. Having incorporating an European
style design, the design of Type 10 brought a new breeze that differs from the
Enoden train of the past.
The sample has the been reproduced from the shape of the train and details,
all the way down to the fine parts and coloring, so this really is something
to look forward to.
The train announced for production at the show, the Enoden Type 100 "Car
No.108" (w/Motor) and the Tokyo City Electric Train Type 7000 (*re-release)
had been mentioned in the
article of 23/07/2010, so you might want to check that out
too.
That will be it for the Modemo special.
By Kapinozuka, who mentions that tonight is the Sumidagawa Fireworks Contest!
