- Diablo SVR was announced at the 1996 Geneva Motor Show as a dedicated racing machine for one make.
- Based on Diablo SV who debuted in the previous year, everything unnecessary in the race was removed.
- The retractable headlight has been removed and an intake for brake cooling has been added. Car rear wing and large rear bumper were also removed on the rear, instead the right and left side covers and the rear diffuser was installed in the center. Exhaust pipe is equipped with exclusive parts without silencer.
- In addition, the interior of the leather tone is removed, and the roll cage and OMP made bucket seat are attached.

- The model faithfully reproduces the aggressive form of Lamborghini Diablo.
