Product Description

- This is a work car that was modified from the surplus Sahashi 153 used during the Japan National Railways era.
- It features a unique style with a driver's cab on both sides while keeping the same structure as the Sahashi. The Kuya 153 and Kuya 165 have different doors and driver's cab structures, and we offer both.
- The model is designed as a conversion kit for the Tomix Sahashi 165 or Sahashi 455, sold separately, so the roof and suspension can be reused.
- Each front is available with piping molded into the pantograph side, and with no piping and a recess behind the mounting base to make it easier to install the piping separately.
- The front window frame is a separate part, and is delicately expressed using an etching mold.
- This kit requires you to fold the bottom of the photo-etched plate, but both the exterior and interior panels have grooves engraved on the back, so you can bend them easily without the need for expensive tools.
- If you want to bend it carefully, you can carefully bend it between the corner of a desk and a ruler, and once you get used to it, you can just bend it with your fingers and make fine adjustments before gluing it down.
- In either case, you can't go wrong by bending the body of the Tomix product that you'll be using as the base car, and if you bend it too much, you can just return it to its original position, so there's no need to think too hard about it.
