Saying something like
"yeah, I'll get back to work after I finish this", while munching on a packet of candy (worth 80yen), procrastinating due to lack of motivation, here I am, Tomeko here. Hey everyone!
Yesterday, there were a couple of Revoltech product samples brought in, n currently its in front of me waiting to be photographed. Nothing better to bring you motivation than a handsome blond guy, yup! So I took some pics while
playing making cool poses~ It will be released soon, so lets get a bit of a taste one step ahead!
Revoltech Series No.091 Vash the Stampede
A dandy SF Cowboy (?) main character of Trigun, Vash!
The Revoltech joints really does help the range of poses, n its quite nice that he can stand fairly well on his own, without the use of stand (to a certain extent).
With so many adjustable joints, you can make poses with so much freedom.
But seriously, the coat. The red coat this time, it seriously help make the mood of poses! You can freely make it look like its blowing around!
Its best to leave the coat alone at first, and decide the pose you wanna make with the arms legs, then touch it up with the movement of coat. Either that, or you could start by taking the coat parts off first, decide make the body pose, then stick the coat sleeves back on.
The ridged character design from the original has been properly reproduced too.
And it comes with the cool stand with bullet holes too, adds a sense of atmosphere!
Also comes with a replaceable hand parts too.
Regarding the left hand, "THAT" gimmick can also be reproduced! Such perfectionists, aren't they?
Now now, for the next guest!
Revoltech Series No.092 Nicholas D. Wolfwood
The guy that had subtly introduced as the (wrong) Combat Priest, Mr. Wolfwood.
Compared to Vash, he has slightly less mobile joints, but that doesn't prevent the posing. Actually, I don't think its thanks to that, that the outline of the suit hasn't been ruined.
The Giant Holy Cross "Punisher" can take the machinegun mode or rocket launcher mode by swapping parts.
And of course, the handgun is also included, so you can make him rumble with whatever weapon you like! You can even do the double handgun too!
This is true for Vash too, but the expression parts for the face are quite nice. And in the case of Wolfwood, you can switch the fringe part for the option of sunglasses equipped or not.
Black suite with sunglasses, its pretty wicked, aye? nehehe.
So yeah, I've
played around with... *cough* experienced the sample product, and I think the effect parts on the leg is done quite well. It adds a cartoony special effect too, but it really helps balance the figure, so you can enjoy a great range of poses without a stand. There is a display stand made of transparent material too, but when you feel like displaying a cool pose, you'd rather display them without the stand...... or is that just my opinion?
Well anyway, here are two veeeeery recommended items!
With many replacement parts, affordable price for such great play value.
The action figures you can play with very well, not just for display purposes.
Let's display the two together and recreate a heated gun-action scene!
By Tomeko, who requests for the Gun-Ho-Guns to be released in Revoltech too. No, seriously, Please.
