The Craftsmanship Behind the Middle Size Series

What CCPJAPAN strives for —
the sculptural beauty only the Middle Size can achieve.

Sculpting & Design

Retro × Realistic × Individuality.

What makes sofubi (soft vinyl) charming is its "deformed" retro appeal. CCPJAPAN stays true to that appeal while also pursuing the realistic, precise sculpting refined through its high-end products. Each sculptor's individuality is woven into every detail, resulting in figures that feel retro yet refined, and full of individual character. We aim for sculpts where these seemingly opposing qualities meet in balance.

Coloring

Faithful to the original,
with bold artistic twists.

We don't just faithfully recreate the original's image — we also offer artistic color variations. "A kaiju in this color is fun too" — that playful approach to coloring is one of the charms of the Middle Size Series. And every paint job is done by hand by our craftspeople. Even products in the same color will have slight individual differences.

4 Reasons to Love the Middle Size Series

Easy to Display

A perfect size at about 12cm. Easy to display on a desk or shelf, so your favorite kaiju is always close at hand.

Sculpting You Can Trust

Small, but unmistakably kaiju. Enjoy the retro deformed look along with the precise sculpting only CCPJAPAN can deliver.

The Joy of Collecting

Because they share the same scale, even different kaiju look great displayed together. The more you collect, the more the kaiju's world expands.
