immir: The problem is the factory is in China and GSC doesn't want the workers to rush with the manufacturing process (i.e. manual work such as hand-painting). A set limit is imposed to ensure that the quality of the product is consistent. Keep in mind that the plastics are not environmentally friendly, so it is very bad to waste the defective parts.
