Having seen the image, I see what OP means. I wouldn't go as far to say it's ugly, but I do think the ball was dropped somewhat in sculpting her. With that said, the original version was long sold out by the time I became aware of it, so this version may be the only way of getting a decent Dark Phoenix figure (as any western versions I've seen are dire).
