[ 1990 Le Mans 24 Hours' Exciting Machine ] 　
The Porsche 956, an unbeatable endurance race car, had been further developed into the 962C in 1985. Although the Porsche factory team withdrew from endurance racing in 1989, the 962C was continued to be raced by many private teams. During the 1990 Le Mans 24 hours race, the Brun Motorsport Team's No.16 entrant which featured a Repsol livery was running in 2nd place behind the Jaguar XJR-12, but with 15 minutes to go, unexpected engine failure forced their retirement. Despite this outcome, the team's run has become a long-lasting memorable moment for many racing fans.
