- This is an improved version of the MiG-15 that was active in the Korean War.It is equipped with the Izmrut (RP-1) radar in the nose, and has been improved with the addition of armament from 37mm to Nr-23KM 23mm cannon. Modeled after the PF type, which has been transformed into an all-weather fighter.
- This aircraft was exported to the former East Bloc friendly countries as a cheap small fighter, and has markings that include the Soviet, Czechoslovak, and Hungarian Warsaw Pact Air Forces, as well as the Egyptian Air Force.
