[Actual vehicle]
- C 58 is a medium-size steam locomotive for both customer money manufactured from 1938 (Showa 13) year.
- It was designed to combine the speed of the 8620 type and the power of the 9600 type, and it was able to see it in the whole country of Hokkaido ~ Shikoku · Kyushu.
- Unit No. 295 was newly made in 1941 (Showa 16) and placed in the Sendai station. After that, she went to Shikoku and finished its role in the Komatsushima branch of the Tokushima Daimyo car district in 1971 (Showa 46).
- Currently it is preserved in the garden park of Sakaide city, Kagawa prefecture.
- Unit 277 was newly manufactured in 1941 (Showa 16) and after placing it in Kanazawa Ward, it ended its role in Kyushu in Shibushi-ku in 1975 (Showa 50).
- Currently it is preserved at Miyagaoka Park in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
