- A model of the unusual fighter plane that was created at the end of the war, also featured in the popular movie!

- This is a 1/144 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Shinden, a local fighter aircraft of which the Imperial Japanese Navy produced only one prototype at the end of World War II.
- Although the Shinden was a prototype, it was a very popular aircraft due to its design (a forward-wing design with the engine located at the rear of the fuselage) which was significantly different from existing fighter planes.
- It also appeared in the popular monster movie released in 2023, where the prototype, which is rare even worldwide, gained a reputation for its active role.
- Research and development of the actual aircraft began in 1943 by the Naval Air Technical Arsenal as a high-speed fighter with performance superior to that of the Zero Fighter.
- The aircraft had a forward-wing structure, was equipped with four 30mm cannons in the nose, and was powered by a Mitsubishi Ha-43-42 engine at the rear of the aircraft, giving it a top speed of 740km/h. It was an aircraft specialized for intercepting B-29 bombers attacking the mainland.
- The first prototype was completed by Kyushu Aircraft in June 1945, and made its first flight in August, but the war ended without it being mass-produced.
- This model includes not only the prototype No. 1, but also fictional markings of the 343rd Air Group `Sword Unit`, which fought hard in the homeland air defense until the end of the war, assuming that it had been deployed in combat.
