- The Samura ver. of Tamaki from "Final Dragon Chronicle ~Guilty Requiem~", the RPG
  included in the Leaf Amusement Soft "Manaka de Ikuno (Come with Manaka)" has
  been turned into a figure!
- The combination of her alluring nice body and the Bikini type armor loaded with the taste
  of Japanese Samurai armor, and equipped with a Katana, a design brought sturdily
  back to the basics has been turned into a figurine.

This figure looks exactly like she does in the video game. I don't know what you are talking about 'ugly', you must not have played the game FDCGR. Why did they choose to release this particular version? Aquaplus has started a huge campaign on their upcoming releases and remakes. To Heart2 will be released for the PS3, there is an arcade fighting game and dungeon travelers (where this figure is from) will be released on PSP.

Very very ugly the worst yet!!!! >_< When Kotobukiya first came out with Tamaki figures they were cute, but as time passes they get ugly and uglier.

looks like my dear japanese makers think kanu and tamaki figures are the best-selling. but expecation is high.
