Apparently, the pictures shown on Amiami looked different. From those pictures, this figure actually doesn't look too bad at all.

33:Discoceris  2013/02/20 8:04:21

Whatever makes you happy. There is no right or wrong (but obviously if you
are truly a Miku fan, you'd get them all if you can) The artistic vision and style
are all unique. Remember, Miku is a meme, not a monolithic entity. It can be
whatever you want it to be, just as the vocaloid tracks are all different.

32:Mitmit  2013/02/14 22:23:18

GSC ver wins this battle. It's obvious. :3

31:Miku  2013/02/14 19:12:20

@Discoceris,

You are right, FREEing doesn't look like part of Max Factory. I already saw the details of this figure. Not really appealing to me, hehe~ Luckily I haven't ordered this. Overall, this figure is not that bad, just that I already found a better one. Thanks :)

30:edsierra  2013/02/07 10:55:07

in overall the figure is well done, but I don't like the design of her eyes, I prefer the Good Smile Miku racing 2012

29:Discoceris  2013/02/01 3:07:28

@Miku

I don't think FREEing is part of Max Factory. I would have to look into it.

28:Figure Critic  2013/01/23 19:52:51

There are 4 flaws in my view:

- Unnatural pose which looks like standing on one leg instead of running
- Anime fig with wide open mouth is dangerous area & in this case, not good
- The wires
- When a fig is not particularly appealing, high price could be damaging

27:No Name  2013/01/23 10:29:50

her face doesnt really look bad at all imo, but i think her pose is kinda awkward

26:nippon-chan  2013/01/23 8:58:50

more miku figures? great as if there arent too many of them already out on the market. Iw ill skip this miku. I dont need it.

25:rybee  2013/01/22 5:39:46

it sucks that her twintails need those support beam things
it looks weird with them there

24:mywalletraepedbythis  2013/01/20 20:13:30

my my the price.... yeah, everything looks better than previous version i think, but her face seems off :(

23:Plz  2013/01/20 8:51:16

Guys, this is FREEING'S version NOT GSC's. There's a reason why it isn't up to pairs with the previous Race Mikus. GSC is already making a 1/8 scale 2012 Racing Miku of their own.
And no, FREEing isn't part of Max Factory, so don't expect MF quality.

21:yuki  2013/01/19 7:32:18

cute figure, but I like last year's version better.. the face is a little off on this one..

20:Anon  2013/01/19 6:20:33

I wonder if there will ever be tony ver. of racing miku, because I don't want to own two racing miku at once. I kind of like this miku over the 2011 for some reason.

19:K'  2013/01/18 22:41:33

Everything is wonderful but the open mouth again.

18:Miku  2013/01/18 13:54:32

@Discoceris

As agency, Max Factory figures, in addition to its own products Alter , FREEing , Kaiyodo ( Revoltech SFO are dealing with products such as only companies).

I think FREEing is the sub division of Max Factory. The quality should be the same.

I think there might be a colour paint difference when viewing the official photos here. The official photos shown here, the paint colours looks a bit dull to me. Maybe you can try to view other photo shots to see the difference.

17:miku lover  2013/01/18 7:05:23

the eyes dont look right

16:JDMsupra  2013/01/18 7:03:58

goodsmiles is better than FREEings version

15:JDMsupra  2013/01/18 7:02:52

this one does not look as high of quality compared to the 2011 version

14:No Name  2013/01/18 6:59:13

wait what happend to goodsmile

13:Chriz  2013/01/18 5:39:59

As cute as the face looks, IMO I think that it is a bit lazy compared to the GSR Miku. She looked more like a party girl than the chick with the checkered flag.
Also from the photos, I noticed that there is a joint of some sort at where her boot met her thigh. And instantly, there's a mismatch in size. Not a lot of love given to a girl who makes her living with long legs and boots.

12:Jo  2013/01/17 17:28:48

Damn, love it. Instant pre-order! <3

11:hien  2013/01/17 13:13:21

sorry i means Goodsmile Miku racing 2011 ver.

10:hien  2013/01/17 13:06:17

i think 1/8 Goodsmile Miku Racing 2012 much much better than this one...

9:Yuu  2013/01/17 10:12:50

The price is too high. It might be worth for me to buy if the face looks 'moe-ier', but this one...uhh...

8:Discoceris  2013/01/17 8:32:00

@Woohhh

If you look at the manufacturer, this is not Max Factory or Bandai, who would get
the license cheaper as they have a vested interest in Miku Hatsune (A joint
venture between Yamaha and Sega) Other than this, FREEing only did nendroid
type Miku (and that was the only Miku product I think)

Whether you think it's worth it or not has more to do with how much you want
it and not really about how much it should cost.

7:Mari90  2013/01/17 7:02:29

I literally just got the other racing Miku not but... 6 weeks ago? I think I'm good.. looks great though.

6:demonlordghirahim  2013/01/16 23:31:05

@M Saber
I agree, I love the nendoroid but I just don't like the face on this one. Which is a shame, I was so looking forward to her as the 2012 design is my favourite :c

5:M Saber  2013/01/16 22:41:01

Am I the only one who thinks the nendoroid version looks better than this?

4:poor guy  2013/01/16 20:54:04

but her face D:

3:woohhh  2013/01/16 15:58:11

I still find this too expensive even for 1/7 scale. License fee is a "given" unless it is a totally original character. Hopefully, this does not become the trend.
