Definitely love the dress and love how there is the removable part on the shoulder. If it had a better looking base, probably would've been a instant preorder.

@ j ... have you owned Alter figures before and which ones had the problem you're bringing up here?

too bad there's no pair of shoulder-less sleeves arms for sword-less pose

pic 7 / 12 shows a puffy right side jaw, making face looks a bit unbalanced... minor detail but noticeable.

Awesome, I've been waiting for this since it was announced at Wonder. I think I know what @J is talking about @Discoceris. I think it's more brands like GSC & Koto etc seem to be a lot more vibrant in their colour palette.
This Saber looks very 'light' in terms of colour and I think Alter can stay on the safe side re colour density. I think it's a realism thing, if it's incredibly bright well, it's kind of like a 'toy' not so much a figure per say.

Interesting perception all the same, especially the puffy right side of the jaw @anotherYX haha, cracked me up you found that so quickly :) I think it was probably intentional to keep away from 'perfect' symmetry and I can dig. I think it's realistic.
That price is gnarly, but I don't think you can go wrong with quality / Alter if you can afford it - 9/10. Over and out

@choosy I have owned several figures from Alter where comments were made about the lack of vibrancy in color based on pictures. Vibrancy of colors were not lacking ... and in fact they feel less "plasticky" than some of Max Factory's figures (a GSC company) Of course, it depends entirely on the artist in charge, but the ones I own are on par with GSC and Koto.

@discoceris Oh, I definitely think they're on par with GSC. I love Alter, I just feel from what I've seen recently, for example Kiss-Shot Acerola (GSC) that they tend to not be as vibrant perhaps.
I have Alter's Samurai Girls Senhime and the colours and figure are great. But I think this Saber might be a tad on the light side. Just my opinion.

Always wanted to summon her in FGO game but could never do it even after blowing a lot of cash on quartz.
Reordered this instead to get my saber... who's laughing now?

Just received it today, the actual figure jaw looks fine, and it's absolutely gorgeousm and a lot more glossy than picture shown. One minor complain: the sword is very hard to stay in place in the standing pose, the hand is barely touching it, so any vibration or wind would blow it off.

Oh, not shown in the sample picture but the whole skirt is actually removable...

I just received mine too. Absolutely blown away, this is my second Alter figure and I didn't expect it to be this great! I can defineitly understand the asking price and shipping, a lot of removable parts as mentioned and a huge box.

Awesome figure. I love the design as well as her face. You can have a lot of configuration options for her dress. She would be even better if the color of her dress is a little bit glossy/shiny.

@ choosy Sorry, this is a way late reply, but I disagree that Alter's painting scheme is any less brighter or duller. It really depends on the character that they are trying to portray. All of their idolm@ster figures feature quite vivacious coloring schemes, as they should, considering the subject, the costumes, etc.
