- Shirasagi was an express train which started driving between Nagoya and Toyama in December 1964, and was operated in 485 series until 2003.
- From 1997 vehicles including some Kumoha 485-200 became an attached organization of Shirasagi, and the coloring was also changed to JNR color.
- Activated until the year of the Shirasagi exclusive color appeared.
