─ 5000 type introduced when the Toei Asakusa Line opened, commercialized with nostalgic old paint

- The Toei Type 5000 is a vehicle manufactured in 1960 for the opening of the Toei Asakusa Line.
- Features a continuous ventilation system on the roof shoulder, and an express light is installed at the top of the front in preparation for priority train operation.
- At the time of opening, it was a 2-car train, but later it was changed to a 4-car train, and the entire Asakusa Line between Sengakuji and Nishi-Magome was made into a 6-car train.
- Until his retirement in 1995, he was widely active on the Toei Asakusa Line, Keikyu Line, Keisei Line, and Hokuso Line.
- In later years, the stainless steel decorative bands on the guest room doors were omitted, and from around 1981 the new paint was changed to a light two-tone cream and red band.
