- The Meitetsu 3150 series is a vehicle that appeared in 2004, and along with the 3300 series that appeared around the same time, it was the first vehicle to have a stainless steel body that was mainly operated on the Nagoya Main Line.
- The first model had a combination of long seats and convertible cross seats, but the second and subsequent models had all long seats.
