- The M4 Sherman is the masterpiece tank that led the Allied forces to victory, boasting approximately 50,000 units, the largest number of tanks produced during World War II.
- There are various types from M4 to M4A6 depending on the engine and armament, but the M4A3E2 is a modification of the M4A3 in response to a request for the development of a fire support tank for infantry units on the European front in 1944.
- The newly designed monolithic turret has a circumference of 152.4mm, a mantlet of 178mm, and the vehicle body boasts heavy armor of 101mm on the front and 76mm on the sides.
- The main gun is equipped with a 75mm gun M3 type that is ideal for infantry support.The engine is a Ford V-type 8 cylinder that produces 500 horsepower.
- 254 vehicles were produced from May to July 1944 and sent directly to the front lines.
- The soldiers called me by the nickname [Jumbo].
