TM-TR06 N-Gauge Power Unit For Railway Collection, Tram Car Triple Bogie (Model Train)

I bought this together with the The Railway Collection Chikuho Electric Railway Type 2000. Installing was pretty easy. It doesn't have any lights, so you will need to add these yourself.

I use the tomix super tight radius (103mm) and it works perfectly on them.

This was one of my first Japanese trains i bought. I got it together with the power unit. The install was pretty easy and straight forward. The details and printing are really good, the pantograph is plastic, so in time i want to change that for a better one.

I love watching it go around my little tram layout, I use the tomix super tight radius (103mm) and it works perfectly

Point for N Scale driving unit (F) (Model Train)

I ordered this for my non electric turnouts i bought a little while back. The drive unit is very easy to install, just pop the old one out and insert the new one.

It can be powered using the tomix switch control or you can do it yourself with a DPDT switch, just make sure the powered pulse is short so you don't fry the drive unit.

Power Unit For Small Train : Express Train 1 (B Train Shorty Support Parts) (Model Train)

Worse performance than I expected from a Kato product. It has very low grip and wheel slips way too easily. I installed it in my B Train Shorty 165 series and it is struggling to drive even with just two trailer cars.

The train comes with 4 types of couplers which don't allow you to uncouple the front ends properly whilst in operation and you have to buy a separate set of couplers from Kato which aren't expensive but they are an extra expense considering how expensive these trains are to start with. This 2 car add-on set without motors is more than the similar Kato 3 car 813 series train that includes the motor.
