Even assuming 1 per person. That's only 200 people. Moreover, these people probably know when the figure will begin pre-order and would of done so the minute they can do so.

@Kong: It was sold out at the time of my post. I'm guessing the quota is ~100-200. If thats the case, it only takes 20 people each ordering 10 to fill the quota, as I don't see a limit each person can order.

I remember Shaka went within a few minutes too, but luckily a few days after it was release, new stock arrived and people were able to pick one up.

I'd like to know which type of body did Bandai used on this Saber, since Bandai figures from another figure line is known to have problems posing the promised poses.

There are already 5 different faces I could see from the photos, even though the advertisement said 3 face expressions...

But judging from the one photo with Saber on a stand, it still looks quite good. Except at 14cm, this Saber might not be as imposing as the pvc figures.

If it is to be played with, Robot spirits models are recommended. I do enjoy more in assembling and painting gundam plastic kits and make more details like in TV series. MG and HG kits are still great for collection. Not really see their days of popularity are fading away. I would consider buying Robot Spirits too, If they were made bigger like 1/100. Not to play with, of course.

Extremely high-quality release. Zero paint issues; joints are tight enough to hold any pose, but don't stick in any way. Decent number of accessories - multiple alternate hands matching iconic poses, the Moe-Moe Z-Cune sidearm, and, for some reason, *three* differently-sculpted scarves. Head has the tendency to come off from the neck a little easier than usual, but pops back on just as easily. Another great Figuarts piece!

The MG is also expensive, I'd rather buy this one since its show accurate and no need to waste time building it like the MG (not to mention breaking a piece during construction).
MG kits are for customization's only, if u want a yellow or green epyon then the MG is for you, or perhaps do some shading (which i find meaningless).
I guess the days for MG & HG are finally fading away with the amazing releases of ROBOT SPIRITS.
