Miyazawa Model Store Sale Product Exhibition Report (2009 Autumn) ?th
Good evening, I'm Ham Tonks. I'm in charge of the Plastic Model kits and Tools.

At the exhibition held by a wholesaler that I deal with often, I saw a few things that were interesting (interested me), so I thought I'll share them with you all.

Let's start with [Couger 1st Type] from Kotobukiya.

Using Kotobukiya Original Frame [Cross-frame], it has great mobility!
Plus it can be freely customized too!
I guess these are the true forms of the normal frame.
Hmmmm... I might buy a Stylet cos I can bear to wait...

Next is BANDAI's Action Base – Lightning Base Plate Type (the image is blue version)

Yup, it lights up.

V Gundam kun looks several times more attractive than usual.
As it looks pretty good just standing there, this might be a must for people like me, who are not so good at thinking of a good pose...
Its also nice that there are three different colors too, red, blue and green.

And lastly, here is [Melsine] from WAVE.

lol weren't there a deep sea fish that has a face like this?

I can kinda remember the period when the SF3D Original started featuring on the model magazine. Back then, I was a grade- schooler, and I was really into Star Wars... so I really wanted to get the imported model kit really badly. However, the model kit shop in my area didn't have them, and that was when I first found out about mail ordering. Back then, you had to ring the shop first, to find out if there are stock available and to order, then mail the cash in a registered mail envelope, then wait and wait and wait. Yup, that's how it was.
A month for delivery was considered fast back then, one would wonder why it took so long, now that I think about it. But yeah, I kinda feel that waiting was part of the enjoyment, thinking about how happy I would be when it arrived. Then again, there were times when I was like "errr..." when it arrived...

Back then, I never dreamed that I would end up working at a mail order company at all.
Nowadays, it doesn't take a month, but while I work, I sometimes wonder how much customers are waiting for their orders to arrive, like I was back then.

Oops, the story of my past took longer than the report...
For those that read all this, I thank you very much.

Hope to see you again.
