[Actual vehicle guide]
- The 14 Series 14 Type is a sleeper express Blue Train that appeared in 1971 (Showa 46) during the heyday of Japanese National Railways as a successor to the 20 Series, which was nicknamed the "running hotel."
- The Suhanefu 14 adopted a distributed power supply system that used generators installed under the floor to provide heating and cooling, and was used mainly on trains that were divided and merged.
