Ohka, or "cherry blossom", was designed and built for the sole purpose of Kamikaze attack,
namely to hit itself on the enemy ship and sink it.

It was supposed to be carried by the Type 1 bomber "Betty" close to the target and then
released and "shot" toward the enemy, although in reality it very often occurred that Ohka,
before even being released, was shot down along with "Betty".

It was given the code name "Baka Bomb" or "Foolish Bomb"by the Allied Forces.
