i have even cut FOAMed plastic which is 4mm thick (cutting in the same way start at the forward 3mm cutting then go back 6mm and cut forward again 3mm once its cut all round keep the same action never cut forward in one go and not deep in one go either take your time (same as using a scalpel)

great for card and THIN plastic-card takes a while to get used to it but never cut clockwise in one go ( it will spiral cut inwards) you cut forward (clockwise) 3mm then go back 6mm and cut 3mm repeat this action and you'll have a perfect circle cut in know time.
