--Yamagata Railway YR-880 is one of the light railcars (NDC) manufactured by Niigata Engineering Co., Ltd. Six primary cars were manufactured when it opened in 1988, and then two secondary cars were manufactured in 1990. The specifications of the secondary car have been slightly changed, and all seats are long seats and there is no toilet.

――Since it is a general-purpose unpainted kit, processing such as drilling, cutting, gluing, and painting is required when assembling.
--Decals, instant letters and parts limited to specific formats are not included in the kit.
――For motorization, you need to purchase a commercially available power truck, MP gear, motor, etc. separately and install it.
--For motorization using MP gears, it is recommended to bond the bearing metal to the bogie bearing to prevent wear.
--Rooftop equipment includes A / F: AU26J + round bench, etc. B: AU26J + square bench, etc.
--The attached trolley DT601k type has an extended shaft distance of 24.5mm for commercial power (actual scale: 23.75mm).
--The underfloor equipment is a common plastic for all types that supports MP.
