--The M4A3E2 Sherman `Jumbo` was developed as an assault tank for infantry support based on the late model of the M4A3.
――Welded 1.5 inch additional armor on the front and sides of the car body, reduced the gear ratio of the differential cover, and replaced it with a thickened special type.
-The turret is based on the T23 turret, which was the origin of the 76mm turret, and is equipped with a thickened one all around, and the shield has a welded armor added to the cast base, reaching a maximum thickness of 177mm.
――In order to cope with the increased weight, the caterpillar was equipped with an extension end connector called Duckville, and it was supported by lowering the ground pressure.

--The M4A3E2 produced 254 vehicles from May to July 1944 and was deployed to the US and Free French Forces tank units on the Northwestern European Front.
――Some vehicles were used by local troops with the main gun replaced with a 76mm gun, and they unfortunately demonstrated their defensive power as a forerunner of infantry support.
