- In the early part of World War II, about 200 were produced between 1940 and 41, which is a I 4.7 cm anti-tank self-propelled gun.
- In 1939, the development of self-propelled guns equipped with antitank guns was considered, utilizing the body of I tank that was beginning to become obsolete.
- The body uses a type B car of I tank. After detaching the turret, we set up an open-top fighting room, and equipped with a 4.7 cm anti-tank gun there.
- The 4.7 cm gun was a gun developed by Czech Skoda Company annexed in 1939 and was formulated by the German Army as 4.7 cm PaK (t).
- Debuted in the 1940 May invasion of France invaded the independent tank destroyer battalion in real battle. When the activity at that time was appraised and additional production planning was done, improvements such as enlarging the fighting room by taking advantage of the experience in French game were applied.
- 4.7 cm anti-tank self-propelled guns continued active until around 1943 in the North African Front and Eastern Front.
