- Haruna is the 3rd ship of King Geumgang battleship and was ordered by the private Kawasaki shipbuilder.
- Launch was in 1913, and in 1915 it was handed over to the Navy Yokosuka Shimbun.
- In December of the same year, it was transferred to the 2nd Fleet 3rd Squadron with 3 same type ships.
- During this period I was under World War I and Haruna carried out security activities such as China and Russia.
- The Pacific War began in Malay, participated in major strategies such as the Battle of Midway and the Battle of Leyte, and at the end it became an air defense battery and fought under the attack of the US Army in Etajima, and the end of the war came.
