- DB (West German National Railway), as a successor to the ETA 180 that has been in use for a long time since the Prussian JNR, decided to replace ETA 150 / ESA 150, a modern battery car (accumulator battery light train) I made it and modernized the non-electrified local line district of various parts of West Germany.
