- The Kiha 17 series is a group of general type diesel cars in which 728 cars were manufactured from 1954 to 1952. By adopting the first liquid-type transmission as a mass-produced diesel of the National Railway, it contributed to the spread of the following peddling car by making the overall control easier.
- Kiha 11 is both driving trucks with toilet, and now Kiha 17 series only this Kiha 11 and Kiha 10 are preserved.
