- It is a 50t electric locomotive which the Hanwa Electric Railroad made in 1930.
- After that wartime acquisition was given ED 38 format.
- After that it waste scrapped in 1988 after transferring to Chichibu Railway.
- Unit 1 is preserved and displayed in the Mitomeduchi station premises.
- It becomes brown specification of grape 2 number.
