-BB-46 Maryland was the second Colorado-class battleship in service in 1921, and was built as the first 16-inch artillery ship on the US Navy.
-Returned in January 1942, despite being damaged by the Pearl Harbor attack.
-This is the only American battleship that has a caged mast in the front tower after renovation.
-The kit recreates a 1945 high angle gun and anti-aircraft gun equipped like a hedgehog.
