[Overview of actual vehicle]
-The E653 series, which was introduced on the Joban Line in 1997 as a replacement for the 485 series, became a hot topic with its distinctive body design and different colorful coloring for each formation. With the emergence of the E657 series, we have departed from the regular operation of the Joban Line, but have been remodeled into the 1000th and 1100th generations, mainly in the Niigata area, to be able to shorten the operation with cold-resistant equipment and are still active.
