-Born by remodeling the surplus EF53 on the Shinetsu Main Line and Joetsu / Takasaki Line as an electric locomotive to replace the D52 used as a freight train auxiliary machine in the familiar Sanyo Main Line, Seno to Hachimatsu (Senohachi) There was EF59, there were 19 tanks.
