--Gordon is a double-seat daytime bomber designed / manufactured by Fairy in the United Kingdom. Completed in 1931, the prototype named Fairy IIIF Mk.V flew for the first time in the same year.
--Gordon, which changed the engine from the IIIF water-cooled Napier Lion engine to the Armstrong Sidley Panther IIA air-cooled radial 14-cylinder engine and delivered 185 to the British Air Force, has been operated in large numbers in the colonies of North Africa and the Middle East. It was also exported to New Zealand, Brazil and Egypt.
