――A major feature of NSX is the world's first lightweight and highly rigid all-aluminum monocoque body. Unlike normal production, each unit was welded one by one so that distortion would not occur only by skilled workers.
――The engine was equipped with [C30A VTEC engine].
--A major minor change was made in 1997. At the same time that the displacement of the MT specification engine was scaled up to 3.2L, the transmission was changed to 6 speed. [Type S] is available as a sports grade limited to Japan.
