--The Stearman Hammond Y-1S is a versatile monoplane developed / manufactured by Stearman Hammond Aircraft of the United States in the 1930s and has undergone evaluation tests by the US Navy and the Royal Air Force.
――The first prototype Y-1 was driven by a propulsion propeller with an engine with an output of 125hp, but due to its low performance, it was renamed Y-1S after being replaced with an engine with an output of 150hp.
――It was designed to be easy to maneuver, but due to its high price, only 20 were produced.
――This aircraft did not have a rudder, the vertical stabilizer was adjustable, but it was fixed during flight, and turning was done using ailerons and elevators.
