――In addition to increasing the main wing area with the aim of improving maneuverability, we have added elements and necessary performance as a Self-Defense Forces aircraft to each part, such as weight reduction by advanced materials and structures, and developed it as a unique aircraft tailored to Japan.
--In addition, the radar can be equipped with an active phased array radar to enable long-range air-to-ship missiles and ASM to be installed and operated, as well as air-to-air radar missiles and air-to-air infrared missiles.
――First deployed to the 3rd Squadron at Misawa Base, and also deployed to the 6th and 8th Squadrons at Tsuiki Air Base, demonstrating its capabilities in Japan's air defense missions.

-The model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the F-2 fighter operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force on 1/144 scale.

--Marking has been specially painted to decorate the Misawa Last Year that appeared at the Misawa Base Festival on September 8th, following the decision of the 3rd Squadron to leave Misawa and move to Hyakuri in 2019. Two types of normal markings for the aircraft belonging to the 3rd Squadron, which are the same as the markings for Unit 1, are set.
