[About the prototype]
――This product is commercialized based on the style of the JNR era, which is highly versatile among the JNR Chiki 6000.
From 1977 (Showa 52) to 1981 (Showa 56), 422 cars were manufactured.
JNR, which was worried about the spare capacity of new products at that time, dismantled and reassembled the parts of the aging container freight car Koki 5500 based on the new long car Chiki 7000 to reduce costs and replaced the old long car. I wiped it out.
Since the dimensions are almost the same as the Chiki 7000, the appearance is almost the same, but not only the bogie and coupler, but also the fish belly underframe is thoroughly used by connecting the side frame of the Koki 5500 and reassembling it to the center of the car body.
For this reason, it can be used almost in common, but the impression from the side is that the fish belly frame is the same as the Koki era and the silhouette is larger than the Chiki 7000.
Some of the currently active ones have different loading equipment from the JNR era.
