--The Aira Cuda is a twin-engine fighter prototyped by Bell before World War II for the purpose of accompanying and escorting a large strategic bomber.
--In 1936, the U.S. Army Air Corps submitted a prototype of a long-range escort fighter with a range of over 4000 kilometers and strong armament to escort the B-17 bomber under development. The XFM-1 from Tabell was adopted.
――The XFM-1 is a large aircraft with a semi-monocoque structure made of all metal and a semi-retractable main landing gear with a total width of more than 20 m. I used a propulsion type to make it.

――The performance of the YFM-1 did not satisfy the U.S. Army Air Corps as well as the XFM-1, and some of the aircraft were refurbished, but the original concept was a stumbling block and the problem could not be solved. Production was discontinued with only the 13 aircraft originally ordered from.
