[About actual car]
- The Sd.kfzz.251 is an armored personnel carrier developed by Hanomark based on a 3-ton half-track.
- Development started in 1937 and production started in 1939.
- Due to its high versatility, various variation types were also produced according to the purpose of use, one of which is Sd.Kfz.251/7 made as a vehicle for engineer units.
- It was developed from Sd.Kfz.215/5, which was also developed as an armored personnel carrier for engineering units, and was equipped with a small assault bridge outside the vehicle.
- Some vehicles also had anti-tank guns.
- The basic Sd.Kfz.251 is a production type from the beginning, and there are A, B, and C types that adopt a complex multifaceted body design, and a D type that has a simplified design to increase production efficiency. There were 4 types.
- More than 8,000 D-type cars were produced from 1943 to the end of the war, and many variations were made from them to support the mobility of German troops.

[About the model]
-The model is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces an engineer transport type based on the Sd.Kfz.251 D type with a simplified design.
- In this kit, in addition to the normal armored engineer transport vehicle type, there are three types: a type equipped with a 2.8cms.PzB41 anti-tank rifle instead of the MG42 in front, and a command vehicle type equipped with a Fu5 communication device and a star antenna. You can choose from the types and assemble.
-The unique body shape of the 251/7 also reproduces the assault bridge.
-The assault bridge uses a slide mold to model the shape and mounting brackets.
- In addition, parts such as a 2.8cm anti-tank rifle, Fu5 communication device, and star antenna are also realistic.
- Also, don't miss the many accessories such as tools for engineers and equipment such as mines.
- The tool box equipped on the side of the car body can be assembled by selecting the opening and closing of the door.
- In addition, the canvas that covers the rear part of the open top body is also made of DS material with a rich texture.
- Crawler tracks are set with Dragon's own EZ track parts.
